The image of a 1935 Ford Fire Truck belonging to the Douglas Massachusetts Fire Department on a vintage Kodak slide that I recently purchased.

According to the Fire Department’s webiste:

"In 1935, the residents of Douglas received their first new motorized fire engine, a 1935 Ford with a 500 GPM (Gallon Per Minute) pump and a hose bed with 1000 feet of 2 1/2" hose."
